Ok before everyone starts to hate, I never claimed this to be dubstep. This is a blog dedicated to Beats, Bass, & Banter, as you know. If it were to be categorized it would be new-aged dubstep or hardstyle. It is DEFINITELY NOT original dub or dubstep, that belongs to the likes of Skream and Benga, Plastician, Mala, Coki, Henchman, etc. This song does however get you going, whether it be the gym, beating up kids in dodgeball, or most importantly at the club. Its catchy.
My buddy Fred calls it Crunchy-Step. “Its like chewing on a big handful or Fritos”… I suppose.

A rare dubstep jam by Dillon Francis. This one goes back to August of 2010, but this is a hot tune that would sound nice with any dubby bass mix. It has almost a Datsik like vibe. Anything Dill touches turns to silver gold. One of the best DJs in the game and probably the most underrated. He can do it all.

Kissy Sellout is a boss. I do not care for what anyone else has to say about him. He did an amazing weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 called the Kissy Klub and is a hard working producer who doesnt get the respect he deserves. His remixes are awesome and the sets that he puts together are world class. I personally like this song a lot. Give it a listen.

So Diplo is one of those DJs/Producers that has done almost everything in the EDM world from headlining to producing the next fad. Although his individual skill when it comes to mixing, is not as great as say Skream or Dillon Francis, he has done wonders for the scene. He is a driver and force, producing top new electronic artists and creating fantastic single songs. Diplo has done it all. #Salute

Catchy tune of the day. Caspa’s remix of Hangover’s Buraka Som Sistema. Something about it…. Maybe its the Ba Ba Ba. Skream and Benga dropped this during their sets and play it during their radio shows. Its a hot tune.

This one is most definitely a summer jam. This is a new song from season vet, Tiesto. Now, this usually isnt my area of EDM, but its pretty damn catchy and if you play this at any beach party outing along with some Dada, you are more likely than not, gonna turn heads. Points. Maybe even bag some ladies. Justice.
